April–August
Quadrophenia Crazy
Quadrophenia went back on the road the following year. Tour itineraries had been produced under the subtitle TED In The Shed but it was decided that the tour would continue under the name of The Who. The 1997 production was smaller than that of the previous year and included a change in guest stars, with Gary Glitter and Billy Idol replaced by P.J. Proby and Ben Waters. Kicking off with some European shows in April, the band continued through to August, finishing in Florida. In total they performed the piece at over 70 concerts in a 14-month period.
