(Vocal/instrumental group, 1999–present)
Formed by school friends Jeff Stinco (guitar), Chuck Corneau (drums) and Pierre Bouvier (vocals) after the demise of their Reset project in Quebec, Simple Plan trade in a similar brand of punk to fellow countrymen Sum 41. Ever at loggerheads with their critics on charges of immaturity or ‘selling out’, the band referenced this in the title of their second album Still Not Getting Any … (2004) – a cool sideswipe at the absence of any good reviews.
